The Fly By

I was almost taken out by a rogue trash bag while walking over to the coffee shop. It’s a cheesy but perfect metaphor for speed at which this week has flown by. Leaving NYC tomorrow–there are birthdays galore to celebrate in Dallas. It’s been eventful-literally. I’m no where near finished with work, but very much mentally at a much-needed stopping point.
Late in the afternoon, I got an email that Bergdorf Goodman had confirmed a trunk show in early December–great news for us.
Last night Alison, Anna, Susanna Salk and I met up at Doubles for a cocktail and a Bell’Invito discussion. Afterwards, we jumped first to the Buck House opening.
Then to Leila Taghinia-Milani Heller gallery opening curated by Beth DeWoody, titled In Stitches.

Alison has nearly talked me into this piece…
Post shows, I met up at A Voce with a friend and from years ago and her husband, pleased to find that my beautiful friend had only become even more happy and beautiful. Finding so much in common, we reconnected over great food and wine. The whole day couldn’t have been better.
Today has been uneventful, except for a few technology blips. I’ve cranked out the days designs and am about to take a much needed break. Now, where to dine solo…
