HOLIDAY GIVEAWAY!

I am not shy or quiet about my adoration for Don Carney. Both of my endeavors, Nest and Bell’Invito, have been touched by his genius in many ways… Which is why I couldn’t be more thrilled that he agreed to collaborate on an incredibly special collection of limited edition holiday cards for Bell’Invito. Featuring four custom motifs, two of which are photo-ready cards, there isn’t a better way to send good tidings to all of your friends and loved ones. During an interview in New York, Don shed light on the method to his masterpieces…

The Inspiration:For the Bell’Invito Holiday Collection I was inspired by the holiday season in New England and I thought a lot about the wonderful cards I remember my parents receiving when I was a child.”

The Creative Process: “With the stationery work that I’ve created for Bell’Invito, I’ve enjoyed focusing on my art using India ink on paper.  The process involves gathering inspiration, working through a series of preliminary sketches before I have my final design then I create the finished art using ink.”

The Art of the Hand-Written Note: “I think that hand-written correspondence is such a special form of communication because it shows that a person cares enough to put pen to paper.  In this age of impersonal mass emails, a hand-written card is truly a wonderful treat to receive and the holidays are an ideal time to send something special to the people you care about.”

The Holidays: “For me, the holidays are a perfect time to surround yourself with family and friends and to celebrate the gift of wonderful relationships.”

So, which motif is your favorite?

Is it Winter Wonderland?

Maybe the stunning engraved Menorah?

The festive Holiday Deer?

Or perhaps the lovely Peace Bird?

Leave a comment and I will pick one lucky person on Monday who will win a set of 50 personalized cards and envelopes from this stunning collection. This giveaway has a value of $995!!!!! Can’t wait to read your comments and as always, write often!

  2. These are gorgeous! I can’t pick a favorite, although I do love the deer.

  3. The cards are fabulous! Long Live Snail Mail!

  4. The cards are so beautiful. They are cards to cherish, exhibit and save long after the holiday decorations are down. You can tell the cards were designed with a great deal of care, attention to detail and passion for the craft. Thankfully there are craftspeople who will never stop caring and we are all more fortunate for it.
